PROFESSIONAL PILOT TRAINING

Ad-Astral Aviation provides advanced training for professional pilots. Specialising only in instrument and multi engine training, Ad Astral Avaiation is the IFR professionals. All training operations are conducted under the company's Flying School Licence under the guidance and supervision of the Chief Flying Instructor, Chris Oakley, in conjuction with owner Ron Magrath.

The company conducts all training for both initial issue and renewal of Command Instrument Ratings as well as multi engine training approvals (META) for instructors. We specialise in renewing expired ratings, converting foreign licences and recurrency training. With in-house approved testing officers, low student/instructor ratios and first class equipment and facilities, Ad Astral can deliver on time and on budget.

Flying staff are highly experienced IFR instructors with Multi Crew turbine experience. Courses start every few weeks with a maximum of two students per instructor. Courses take up to three weeks with a test in the fourth week.

Ad-Astral is located at Perth Domestic Airport. This offers easy and quick access to all navigational aids without the need for expensive and time consuming transit flights. As Perth is a Class C control zone, valuable experience operating amongst international and domestic jet traffic can be gained. For overseas license conversions, Perth offers the familiarity of Class C airspace, easing the conversion process. In addition, as our final destination is always Perth, an instrument approach to a full stop landing is guaranteed. This ensures the training value of each sortie is maximised.
